Looks like a good time was had trekking to Mayflower on saturday. Good Panos posted! If you like the winter you ought to go back in July for the flowers and sunsets. Definitely my favorite spot in Summit County. Having recently moved to Castle Rock I am missing Mayflower already.
Wow! I was curious how a sunset would look in the summer after being there last weekend. Not to mention how many and what kinds of wildflowers. Gorgeous images, for sure.
Had an interesting observation when some folks saw the images of the sunset of the Gulch. With the copper coloration, is that the reason the ski resort up the road is called Copper?
No doubt I will be making the return trip in the summer!

Love the colors of the mountains in the first. Nice detail in the columbines as well.
