Spring Colours
probably not one of my more subtle images

It felt like spring in my garden last weekend with lots of sunshine, ladybirds and daffodils. So here's a shot combining all three with a bit of springtime behaviour thrown in as well.

This was taken using a mix of natural light and fill flash. It could probably do with a bit more DOF but I had to shoot this handheld (they kept wandering around) and so I needed to keep my shutter speed up.

Canon 60D with Canon 60mm macro lens and diffused MT-24 flash, f8, 1/250 , ISO 400.

All C+C welcomed.

It is Spring, after all Matt. :-) ;-) Excellent control of lighting to avoid reflection.

Not subtle, very much in your face but the colours are superb and well handled. More DOF would have been nice, perhaps increased the ISO, not sure if the 60D handles higher ISO well.
