I got a phone call from my neighbor, who has a suet feeder on the back of his large inner city lot. He had been seeing a bird he has never seen before so I headed over there and found this townsend's warbler.

The colors on these little guys is just crazy. You have a really exceptional image here then add the perch, flowers and uncluttered BGl..... Wow! Congrats Wade.
Great job. Love the colors (in BG and FG) and how they are still no match for the warbler's yellow stripes.

Unbelievable. What a beautiful capture Wade. One of my favorite BOS shots in awhile.
Twas mine (if only!), I'd consider opening the blacks just a tad (especially around the eye), adding just a touch of red (it looks a slight green cast??), and darkening the background just a little to make the bird and flowers pop a touch more.
With your permission, I'll happily remove if not, here's the "picture's worth a thousand words" example. (It's a rotating GIF, so wait for a couple of seconds to see the comparison.) Just meandering thoughts on a fantastic shot, feel free to ignore.

Nice catch Wade. The colors on the bird are simply beautiful. I don't really have much to add here, but I do like the subtle edits that John made.
