Arty Farty Jackdaws!
Thanks for the comments on my Goldcrest image.

This one is a bit different for me, and I would be interested to know what you think; does it work, or is it just a blurry mess! The birds are Jackdaws flying from their roost before the sun rose.

Techs:
Nikon D300s
Nikon 200-400
Handheld
F5.6
1/8s
ISO 1000

Oscar, I like the colouring in the sky but as an image it doesn't do much for me I'm afraid. I think this comes all down to personal taste..I'm sure others will like it!
Sorry
Rene

Sorry Oscar not for me also. I thought they were blurred mosquitoes when I opened the image. Great sky though.

Hi Oscar,

I really like the idea of the shot but think the birds need to be a bit bigger and slightly more defind for it to work.

Nice try though. :toast:

I like the idea and colours but there's no detail in the birds so its a blur to far for me sorry

Either you need trillions of birds in a flock or just a few but closer up, so gotta agree with everyone else I am affraid. Keep trying.

Oscar a good try but afraid it's not for me,if i could just make out they where birds that might do it.

HI Oscar,

Sorry, but it doesn't works for me. I like the idea and the colours though, but the birds are far too blurry for my taste.

You achieved some interesting variations in the blurred jackdaws. Kudos for trying. Perhaps try ISO 50 or 100 for more 'oomph' to the image.

I'm afraid this one doesn't work for me Oscar. As has been stated, they really need to be bigger and closer together. These types of shot are very hit and miss at best so well done for trying and just give it another bash.
