A few weeks ago I ventured up Cameron Pass and hiked up to Lake Agnes. Kept searching for the best photo opportunities at Lake Agnes but even a wide angle lens couldn't capture the lake and Nokhu Crags like that I wanted. With a very cold breeze kicking up and the sun setting, I started back to the trailhead somewhat disappointed. About a 1/4 down from the lake I noticed this scene that seem to capture the Nokhu Crags fairly well. As I was taking a few images, low and behold, the moon peeked up over the Crags. Couldn't believe the timing!
As always, any critiques are welcome.

Ken, the crags and shadow line give a nice sloping angle. The image looks to need more contrast and a slight warming of temperature.
Another beautiful scene you've captured. The moon is a fine addition to an already fine image.
I agree with Doug regarding contrast. Not sure what 'development' technique you're using (HDR?), but the shadowed areas again would look better darker in order to provide more contrast to the sunlit mountain.
Yea, I can see both your points fellas. Actually, it looks quite different on this site than on my monitor within Aperture. I had purposefully lighten it a bit since I noticed other images I had posted turned out too dark.
With that said I made what appears on my side as some significant adjustments, so we'll see how it looks on this site.
Oh, man...that looks a lot better to my eye!
Somehow, an overall 'haze' that was present in the original and that I did not notice earlier has vanished. What a difference!

I think you nailed the contrast in the revision.
I just assumed you were intentionally going for the low contrast look in the original.
No, the original just didn't have near enough contrast for posting, but printed out quite well. I guess I better quickly review the images once I post to ensure they have the intended look. Glad folks pointed it out since there is a distinct difference, even at that smaller size.

The re-post is right on. The added contrast makes this pop nicely. I love the moon coming up over the horizon and the warm light on the Crags. Nice job Ken!

The repost looks great! The contrast is perfect.

Like the repost. Great light and I like the light dusting of snow.
