Shack & Trees Redo
5DMK2, 70-200L @ 200mm, f11 @ 1/4, ISO 100,CPL, Tripod
Redo of a previous post with a slight Topaz Simplify Filter. Usually don't use software filters to much, but thought this actually looked okay. Shot in the Triangle Lake area near Eugene OR last Fall. Usual burnin and Dodge in PSCS4,from raw file. Please view larger version.Input appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Danny,
I love this! The tree over the barn really adds mood to the image. You also did a nice job on the processing. So this image has it all. Mood, good composition and good processing. Well done! :toast:

Ditto. I remember this one in an earlier stage of processing. The filter did right by you...added some drama to the colors and tones. Great job.

I remember your original posting of this Danny. I also remember liking the barn, trees and overall composition but something was missing that you have since found. I like the effect here and assume your filter use is what did the trick.... this one is great and much improved.

Great image Danny, and that filter adds an interesting effect. The large version looks like a painting. Nice piece of photo art!

Love what it does to the vegetation!
