Snowy Sedona
Hi everyone,

Havent posted anything in a long time here, mostly because I have done any shooting in a long time. Finally got to go out and do shooting in Sedona with Doug and Micheal. It was an awesome day for shooting. The only problem was I forgot my snow shoes and was walking around in snow with regular sneakers and my feet was frozen the entire day. Other than that it was fun shooting with Micheal and Doug. Sunset was even cooler as 3 other NPN'ers showed up.

Anyways here are some of my shots from the trip. Its nothing compared what Doug has posted.

#1 A section of the Oak creek not too far from town.

#2 A b&w from slide rock. Pretty similar to what Doug posted.

#3 Fast moving clouds over Cathedral Rock.(113secs)

#4 A vertical version of the fast moving clouds. Which of the 2 do you guys prefer?

Thanks for looking!

These look great Chikku. I really like #4 compared to the horizontal version. I think with color I might have preferred the other, but the clouds in the last one look fantastic and the long exposure in the horizontal works nicely. I think you could even crop out the bottom and just have a pano of cathedral rock. Anyways, nice set.

I am really liking #3 and how that long exposure turned out. I think the horizontal comp fits the cloud motion better. Maybe burn down the brightest clouds middle-right edge and atop the left ridge. The small patches of snow on Cathedral are nice accents. Real nice set.

Very nice set. I really like the long exposure clouds.

Thanks for risking frostbitten toes to show us these!

I also really enjoy all three b&w images, Chikku.
My favorite of the two is the horizontal version due to the cloud movement and, most imporatantly, because of the wonderful curves in the foreground. Arizona Highways material if I've ever seen it!

Very nice! I like the stream a lot, very nice somber winter image. And I'm with John on the horizontal version, that scythe of water grows on me the more I look at it.

They're all nice, but #3 is VERY nice.
