Langdale Pikes and autumn colours
Canon 5D MK11, Canon 24-105L, iso 100, 1/15ss, f16, Tripod.

One from a trip to the Lakes in November.

Like most landscapes needs to be seen larger to see it at its best.

I'm by no means I landscape photographer Guy, but I love this. The light on and colours of the trees are super. :toast: :toast:

You are right about the large image, Guy. Lots of beautiful detail in here.

Beautiful. I particularly like the contrast between the cloud covered peaks in the background and the sunlit fore/middle ground. That really sums up what the Lake District weather is all about. Very nice indeed. :toast:

Hi Guy, love the tranquil, autumnal look & feel and the way, as Rene mentioned, the colours layer the image and how you captured the essence of the Lake District.

I love, as I say the image as presented, however I just wonder if you lose a little at the foot and increase at the top to break the almost 50/50 and slightly desaturate the green of the grass? But you were there, so you know the colours.
