Storm Clouds gathering
Getting around to processing some more images from last weekend in Phoenix and the storm clouds on Sunday afternoon.

Another nice one Bill! The light clouds at the top give this one more of a reaching-toward-the-heavens feel than your last post, which felt more like heavy-clouds-pressing-down. Even if they were actually gathering, this one makes me think for of a storm lifting. The framing feels a little tight around the chollas, especially on the right: more room over there would be nice, but maybe there's a reason that didn't work.

I also wish there was more room around the chollas, but I really like the dramatic feel of the clouds. The angle you shot this at makes it feel like the clouds are rolling towards the viewer and as low as low lying fog.

This almost has an infra-red look to it which I like quite a bit.
I think you could crop the top down to an almost horizontal format as the bright clouds almost compete with the cactus for attention.

I like the way you presented this, Bill--looks great!
