While winter feeding of elk is subject to controversy, it has given me some photographic opportunities. This was taken this year. This photo was taken at sunrise. It is about 75% of original.

This is an amazing shot Jim. The lighting you caught is truly special. I just love the silhouette effect.
It's great as is, but I think a shot processed to darken the shadows and increase the silhouette, and also one processed the opposite way to open the shadows just a tad would both be fine in their own right as well.
