Falling Water Creek and Spring update
I made a trip to Falling Water and Richland Creek yesterday. Here is a moody shot of Six Finger falls at high water. Spring is advancing at full pace along both Falling Water Creek and Richland Creek. The second shot was taken along Falling Water Creek and shows the signs of Spring.

Bill Dark gave us an update recently with pictures of Falling Water Road F1205 or as Bill named it I-1205. Good news, the road is now open. I have really missed this road and I am glad it is open again! Richland Campground remains closed and I am not sure when and if it will open?

Great shots Tom. That is some water!
I like the redbuds and the light along the creek. Nice job.

Yeah, Falling Water is running just a tad more than when you showed it to me several years ago.

Beautiful series, Tom! I was there Thursday but I like the color of the water in the second one better in yours. Maybe the result of a blue sky?

A couple of years ago the Forest Service plan was to close the campsites down by the creek (after what happened at Albert Pike) and construct a few more sites on higher ground. Guess we will have to wait and see...

Thanks guys it was great to be out, work has had me tied up for a while. Bill, the skies cleared briefly for about one hour around 9am and that is when I took shot #2. I am sure the blue in the water was a result of the skies. A point of reference on the water level, the Richland Creek gauge was at 7 feet on Friday morning.
