Peregrine III
I hope nobody is bored with peregrine flight shots yet, there just may be a few more to come! Today I managed to get sharp shots with the birds filling a lot more of the frame, so although this is still a crop, it is to a far lesser extent than previous postings.

I have again cropped close to avoid too much of a plain blue background.

One particularly nice thing about this session was that two swallows flew over during it - the earliest I have ever seen them.

Hi David, congrats on getting these shots with such a fast flying bird.

Personally I might look at just opening up the RHS as viewed, although still in shadow, I think you could get just a little more out of it, but don't push it to far, still keeping it real.

Very nice flight shot, I agree on opening up the righthand side a bit.

Thanks for the comments, guys. I have tried working on the right hand side of the head a little more, especially around the eye. The site is difficult as to get the light direction I would like I would have to walk about 50 metres off the cliff, and then fall upwards a bit!

I think the reworked image is an improvement, so thanks for the advice.

Nice shot but I prefer the one from the other day.

Very nice indeed - bringing up the rhs eye has certainly helped.

Prefer the slightly lighter re-post. I think a small catchlight in the birds right eye would be of benefit too.

Awesome bird, and a very good shot of it too. Second image for me, bringing out the detail in the face has made all the difference. Nice one, David.

Great shot, great details despite the light and contrast.
