Ever since I got serious about photography 11 years ago, I've tried to find a waterfall with a dogwood and/or redbud tree that I could work into a photograph, and dang if I didn't find both in one day last week. One of the things that draw most of us into our work as photographers is the excitement that comes with discovering scenes like that. What a thrill...
This one is actually two images stacked for better sharpness front to back.

Beautiful locations both, Bill. I like how you've framed the waterfall in the first image, just lovely.
But wonder if the bright new leaves in the foreground could be temporarily pulled out of the frame with some twine/rope? For me their brightness level distracts from the beauty that lays behind. Thanks for sharing, can't wait to see what else you will have for us this spring.
Thanks, Wayne. As you might expect, I took hundreds of shots at this location...here's another you might like better.

Bill, both shots are fantastic, but the Redbuds are special! It is always fun to find shots like these. Thanks for sharing, by the way I like the second dogwood shot also.
