I just acquired Viveza2. I process through LR3 to CS5 and I want to know if it is better to install the plugin in LR3 or CS5.

Harry -

I think you can install it in both, provided you don't try to run both at the same time. And on two computers, if you want. From the FAQ page:

How many computers am I allowed to install Viveza 2 on to?

Under the license agreement you are allowed to install and activate Viveza 2 on up to two computers for your own personal use.

Viveza is a very good product. Unqualified props to Sandy Richards for pointing me to it.

Harry. I strongly suggest using it from CS5. That enables you to apply the Viveza edit on a separate layer. Non destructive editing is the goal.

I find it quite useful on CS5. The theory behind Keith's suggestion is a good one.

Remember too - in CS5 if you convert the image to "smart filters", then add your Viveza adjustment layer, you can go back later and make further adjustments in that same layer. Without smart filters, you cannot readjust the same layer in Viveza. You have to either delete that layer and start over, or add another Viveza adjustment layer on top of it.
