Hi David,
Good to see some insects about over the last few days. I find that with the glasses it is the wings on this fly that I really notice as standing out. I would like to see a bit more of the head, but I guess you can't have everything.
plenty of insects about in this warm weather so you should get lots of opportunity to practice. I don't have the glasses unfortunately so can't really comment on the image.
