I don't have any frosty mountain pictures like the ones Scott and Tony posted, so I'm suggesting frosty mugs instead. Since we're due for an informal CNP Happy Hour, I'll set one up and see whoever is interested at:
C.B.&Potts in Broomfield on Tuesday, May 9, at 6:00p.m. (I'll be there by 5:30.)
As the date approaches, if you're interested post a brief R.S.V.P. here so that I'll have a general idea of the number of tables to reserve. As usual, bring pictures, stories and cash.
See you then!

Gee, Grant. You always go out of town when I'm scheduling these things. I'm beginning to think it's not just a coincidence.

I might be there, depending on how organized I am for my PNW trip by then...

(interpreted, that's... "What? A Happy Hour in Colorado? Da@#it, I'm in South Carolina!! How stupid of me. Bummers. Well, have a BEvERage for me and best regards!!!)
It's great that you guys are having a party to celebrate my birthday.
Unfortunately my wife already has family plans for the evening.
Hmmm....tough choice, especially since I can walk to C.B &Potts
RichieV - Since you're back in town I expect you to come so that you can regale us with stories about your just-completed Bisti trip! (And so you can bring back the gear that I loaned you because I'm going to need it this weekend. )
Renee C - A lot of us still owe you for the time that you picked up the tab so if you can make it be sure to bring a designated driver!
We'll be sure to toast Bill on his birthday and to honor Grumpy Badger (who never missed a happy hour before he moved out of Colorado).
I tried a new jerky recipe over the weekend and will bring part of the batch. I went for a little more tang and a little less spice. Not sure how it stacks up to the Kebler recipe. We'll see... as long as Brent doesn't get it all first! (I have some "dime bags" for anyone who wants to take home a little taste... )
Bill - you're going to spend your birthday with Edna instead of us!? I guess we know where we rate. . We'll raise a glass in your honor!
Okay...so I'm a bit delinquent in posting this, but a big THANKS to CAZ for putting this together. We had a nice little gathering at C.B. & Potts - CAZ, Renee, Brian Jackson, Nat, Brent, Brad and myself.
In between one or two (or more) beers, we got to take a look at Nat's portfolio - phenomenal work! - and talked bad about everyone who didn't make it.
I tried out a new beef jerky recipe and handed out little baggies to everyone....which did earn us some strange looks from a neighboring table.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to have a BEvERage, I'm expecting a little one in October!
Although, some dinner/snacks may hit the spot.
See ya there!

Good get-together all around - thanks, CAZ!
