What do you want the remote to do? Just fire the shutter, or engage the autofocus as well? Is it line of sight or are there any intervening structures or vegetation? And what do you mean by long range; 30m, 100m? Is it for use at night, or during the day? Sorry to be less than helpful but different situations require different solutions.

Hi Phil
Thanks .
Just this minute got it sorted. Ordered one for £11 ( Pension buggered for a week !! ) . It is for about 100 metres. This one does focus as well but I could manage without.
Thanks anyway.
