How far east is the line of demarcation for "Pacific Northwest"?

It looks like there is no longer a Canadian forum, so I'd say anything you can see from Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. (The other surrounding states are covered in other forums.)
A trip to Palouse Falls a few days ago was rewarded with some great sky color and drama. I have been there 4 times shooting and finally got a sky that I liked.
From another angle and of the falls itself I was able to capture a beautiful sky with the roaring falls. These falls drop some 200 feet before dropping into the rocky bowl below. Last week a kayaker went over the falls. He lived.
Spring Waters at night in downtown Spokane a couple weeks ago. The water coming through here at flood levels in the spring is nothing less than impressive and you can stand right over the top of these falls and get wet on suspension bridges. Shooting here is fun and the different flows can be caught in long exposures as this shot is.
Great shots ALL! The moderating job is going to be tough on this one... And we wouldn't have it any other way for PNWNP.
NINE (9) more days until the Spring contest closes. Anybody else wanna get in on the action?? A reminder that three images get picked-- for winner and 1st & 2nd honorable mention.
The light for 'Enchanted Forest' didn't last for more than one or two minutes. I was already set up to photograph with my Canon 5D MKII and my 24mm TS lens. I was waiting for this beautiful fog light to reappear that I had seen a couple of minutes earlier. This type of light provides a soft glow to an image as there are no harsh shadows. Suddenly the clouds opened up at the same time that the fog moved up the hill. The forest scene before me was filled with this beautiful, vibrant glowing light. I was only able to get off a couple of exposures before the light and fog left.
This sunset at Tom McCall Preserve near Rowena, Oregon is probably one of my best, if I can say so! Conditions were just what landscape photographers dream of for images of lots of colorful flowers backlit by the sun. There was next to no wind and the Columbia Gorge Broad-leaf Lupine and the Northwestern Balsamroot were at peak bloom.
The Palouse hills and fields glows in this image taken just before sunset. I was here attending a workshop for four days in early June of 2012. While we had some wild wet weather we also enjoyed some lovely light to photograph this beautiful region of rolling hills of glacial silt know as loess soil. This image was made from Steptoe Butte, a 400 million year old quartzite butte protruding from the 15 million year old Columbia River basalts of the surrounding area. It is rather a daunting task at this location to decide just which way to point the lens. There are limitless opportunities for creative expression in all directions.
Winner's are identified in this thread under their winning photos. The images will soon be posted on the PNWNP Cover Shot page and Jeremy's winning image will be added to the banner. This all happens once our web page guru works his magic.
Aaaack, dunno where the "winner's post" went, that I put up last night! I'll try again:

Ocean Shores, WA (an exceptionally rare event to be this far south, for those who don't know)
More info here about the very rare snowy owl "irruption" :

There is more to the PNW than "just" landscapes and flowers!
The Banner needs variety! :-)
