Hi

Seems like an age since I posted last, it has been an age since we have been out with the cameras, we decide to go out this morning and it is dreary compared to what it was like during the week, and not a lot going on... came across a couple of Greylag Geese... this one was keeping an eye on things....

Hi Phil.
These so called common birds often make very good subjects as this one has, bird on it's mossy perch looks very good.
Maybe a tad off the top for me.

Keith.

Plenty of detail on the bird Phil. Agree with Keith about a little off the top (it's also what I say to my barber  ) and if you have it a little more canvas behind the bird. Need to see this one large to appreciate it.

Nice portrait of an under-rated species. Good to see you posting again, Phil.

Nice subtle colours Phil on this one.

Phil

It's strange how more common species are often overlooked, nice striking pose.

A striking portrait. Maybe a bit more space on the left but minor point.

As been mentioned, perhaps a little more space to the left, but still a very nice portrait.
