You have managed to retain the detail in the blacks very well. If it were mine, that oof stick bottom left would have to go.

Super shot Phil, agree about the twig in the bottom left, but otherwise great. Lovely colours, bg, and very good detail in the blacks :toast: :toast:

Unusual position for a Bully.
Agree about the stick maybe.

Super image Phil. Agree about twig but minor nit. Lovely smooth background, though as JR mentions, it does seem a little unusual seeing them on the grass like this. :toast:

First class image Phil....unusual setting makes it a special image IMHO. Hadn't noticed the twig until mentioned. No big deal to clone out if you wished to.

Hi Phil, small issue easily address, but also might tone down the light, blade of grass behind the rear leg. That green BKG certainly lifts the subject, love the dew on the grass, nice touch.

Excellent POV. I suppose the twig should go as it does tend to attract the eye.

You want to see the size of these babies in Central and Northern Norway - they're nigh on the size of a blackbird!

Like David - I'd have to make that OoF twig go away, but great control of the blacks in the face Phil :toast:

Lovely image. Great detail and a nice backgroud. You've handled the blacks very well.

All been said, Phil. A lovely shot of a cracking bird and the green BG works a treat.
