G. Dan Mitchell uses his April Fools post to make a point we can all appreciate.

Nice pic, but he needed to take the text further. Fake comments from local photographers or crazy lengths they'd be going to to get to locations would have really added to it. It does raise a good point in a funny way, which is always good.

Pretty funny, and it does raise a good point. I agree with David that added text would have made it even better.

ps: Craig, I made the URL clickable for you.

Hey Preston, thanks. I've been wondering how to do that. I see others with active links to photos, etc. What's the secret?

Craig - If you click the "Text Style Menu" link below the Reply box, you'll see the instructions for how to do it.

Hi Craig,
Regarding the Truman quote which was true, I came to know Harry Truman when I was an 18 year old Navy Hospital Corpsman and he was president. He as incredibly nice, full of fun, played poker, drank bourbon, was a heck of a fisherman, and he was very special to his friends. When he was talking with you as his friend, he was Harry, when something came up in official business, he would quietly say, "This is the President" then, when it was over, he was Harry again. Harry had friends of all ages in military, civilian, and political life. Not only was he a great guy, but he was also a great president.
