Eagle Owl Take Off (c)
Taken last Summer of Kaln a European Eagle Owl I work with.

I have placed (c) for captive bred in title but a great bird to practice on.

This shot seems to go down well in a printed format with some of the visitors who come up to fly him.

I am not sure if I have posted this here before, if I have forgive me

Comments & critique welcome

Nice shot Vince. Only thing that detracts a bit are the fences, particularly the one on the right.

I know what you mean Peter, this is one of the things I have learnt on here, distractions etc. With what I have learnt on here, if I took this again with what I know now there would be no distraction like the double fence. Well pointed out & I am in agreement with you :toast:

Hello Vince
I seem to have seen this before, but maybe on e phtozine?
Whatever, I would print it, get it framed, and get it sold to your customers.
Best wishes

Hi Vincent,

Yep OK the fences do distract a little, but just look at those eyes, absolutley fantastic  .

I agree about the fences but other than that a great photo. I love the look of concentration on his face.
