Resting After Lunch
So nice to see the SUN today..... and, this juvenile Bald Eagle. I was at Ridgefields auto tour drive and came across this eagle after he finished lunch (bird or duck?) He was out of sight on the far side of a berm and then flew up and stood in the grass at the top. I cloned out one feather that was hanging from his beak.

Larger image available, thanks for stopping!

Sweet portrait, Craig. The top of the berm made for a great angle.

You sure nail these shots, Craig. Way to wait for the moment. May be a young bird, but already has the piercing stare and sense of presence of an Eagle. Your image captures that really well.
