Could be "barn " owl
Could to see my pair are back at the breeding barn. This is where they sit for most of the day. Can't get nearer as the angle is looking up too much. In other words I can't get a very big image with the 500.A difficult crop too from horizontal.

A difficult crop choice, John. If the owl had been sitting a little to the right I would have suggested it were based placed centrally, as it is I think you have made the best choice possible.
Looks good to me, John. The crop works fine and it's always good to see a shot thats not all bird and no picture. Lets hope it's another good year for you at this site.

Having the apex of the roof as the central point has worked well. The large image is superb, IMHO, showing all the textures in the bricks, wood and cement of the old building, the owl's not bad as well !! :-);-)

Good choice of crop which works very well. Excellent detail from the Siggy Biggy JR! I hope the loose brick to the right of the owl doesn't move anymore or it'll be a Squashed Owl! Look forward to some more piccys.
