Chalk Formations at Sunrise
One more from my recent trip to the Castle Rocks area in western Kansas. Thanks for looking in.

The texture of the chalk lines and the contrast in color is pleasing.
Many oblique and horizontal lines. the dark foreground with the curved dark line in the center is a type of leading line.
The moon look a little suspect for some reason???
What camera?

Wayne, you are really getting me envious of some travel time with all this from Kansas. I usually do a road trip in February or March but have missed out this year and now I am really ready to hit the road.

Hey Wayne,
Catching the light illuminating both rock formations on either side of this photo was great timing.

Some really nice color and light, Wayne. But the moon looks a little unnatural for some reason...

Great light on this one Wayne. I'm guessing this is part of the badlands at the Castle Rock area. I bet it is a lot more green out there now. I've got to go soon.
