Grass Widow...
Hello all! Been a while since I last posted here. Here's a shot from a couple of weeks ago up on Catherine Creek. Thanks for looking!

Very nice processing Jeremy. You have a very pleasing composition with the placement of the foreground flower against the lovely bokeh of the background flowers. It would be interesting for many of us to learn what your camera settings were for your image.

Thanks,

Sure Phil...sry for not posting it in the OP.

5dmkii, sigma 150mm, cp, f2.8, iso 800, 1/2000

Shutter speed on this was a bit higher than I needed and I could have dropped the iso a few stops probably. But the noise at 800 is really nothing and I just get caught up shooting sometimes and forget about the settings.

thanks!

Soft and dreamy look Jeremy, I love the very artistic comp. and presentation. Well done! (and welcome back!)

Thanks Craig. I hope to be back more often...life is busier than I expect sometimes.

Beautiful shot! I really like this little guy!

Is the Catherine Creek area a good hike I could take the wife and 10 year old daughter on? We are looking for something to do Saturday as a family, and was looking for something moderate...

I've been pining to get out and capture these guys since Phil reminded me they were blooming. This one comes together nicely!
