Cabbage Patch
Skunk Cabbage! Weeee-eewwww, stinky, but it sure is bright and pretty in the forest wetlands.

Wow Catherine I had no idea that skunk cabbage had such a pretty flower, almost looks like a distant cousin of a cala lily (and I'll bet all the cala lily's are pointing out how very distant they are!)
Nice job, I like the diagonal composition.

I like it ! Maybe a polarizer would have cut the glare on the green skunk leaves?

Thanks for the comments.

Hi, Erik: More info-- I did use a polarizer. Left a little glare in there to highlight the structure of the leaves. Are you saying the remaining amount of glare is unpleasant? I'd appreciate the feedback. Thanks.

Yes Catherine, I was thinking along those lines. To me, the glare on the leaves is a little distracting.

I just saw some of those the other day on a bike ride, and was wishing I had my camera long. Nice diagonal here Cath!

Great colors! I'd be tempted to get in for some close ones, too.!

Ok I expected dolls ;)

I like the bit of shiny/glare on the leaves, adds character to the shot.
