It looks like we are going to have a good group next Sunday at Garden of the Gods! Bob will post a map of where we are meeting. I am looking forward to seeing everyone as well as learning about places around the Springs to shoot. The group event will be at 9am at the Spring Canyon South Picnic Area, which is on the south side of the park nearest the Trading Post and Balanced Rock. See map here: http://www.springsgov.com/units/parksrec/maps/pdfmaps/gogs-pg1.pdf . There is plenty of parking right at the picnic area. Since Picnic areas cannot be reserved, there is a SLIGHT chance we may find it already occupied, but it's not very likely.
I'll bring a small pop up shelter for some shade to look at laptop screens. There is no AC power there, so make sure your batteries are charged.
Since next Sunday is the 15th of April and the last post in the thread said the 22nd of April, can we assume the 22nd is more accurate given the announcement window?
