WOW....that G11 is an awesome walk around camera for when the SLR is not with you! Especially in good hands :biggrin:

Actually, Kurt, I often carry it with me even when I've got my main gear. There was a time in Canada, just east of Banff, when I had the 5D2 on a tripod waiting for the sun to come up. While I was waiting, I took a shot with my G11 of the sun just below the horizon, and it was far and away a better shot than the one that I made with the 5D2.

I'm seriously thinking about the G1X because of its nearly 6 times larger sensor, but I'll wait awhile to see if the prices drop a bit and for the initial production run bugs and glitches to get worked out.
