Different Take on Ruckel Creek Falls
Tried to get a different angle today on these falls..

Canon 5D Mark II
Canon EF 16-35L at 22mm
ISO-1250
1/2 second at f/16

Now, if that doesn't describe the PNW forest undergrowth to a tee, I don't know of anything that would. That is lush green! And the drape of fern in the fg is great; it kind of mimics the falls in its downward flow. Nice way to camouflage that log at the falls, too.

Very surprised there aren't more comments...

I really like the undergrowth also. The oof ferns mid right kinda take my eye to them, but no biggie. :)

Looks good ned. I like the idea of trying to find new angles . Overall I think it looks really good, but I do have to say that in my mind I am wanting to see the bottom of the falls where the water hits the pool, but that is just me.

Nice job Ned! That falls is tricky IMO. Thus no shots in my portfolio from it. I like the side angle. Greens are getting close. I cant wait for a couple more weeks.

Ned, really nice smooth texture to the water and lovely greens. While I wasn't there to observe the light level the image feels a bit somber on my calibrated monitor. Perhaps a bit of a luminosity/mask boost?
