I finally got out to Chase County Lake for a beautiful Spring evening yesterday after work. Saturday was a little stormy (tornadoes) and Sunday was too windy but Monday was perfect. I thought there would be more water at the falls with all the nice rains we have been having but it was just a trickle.
The hills were not disappointing though. This is a three image stitch across the top end of the lake. Most of the hills around here are a muted green this year because Spring came so early that they didn't get burned.
Ken, tranquil and pleasing scene, I really like the pano for this shot.

This is a beauty Ken. Everything came together nicely.
And you're right about Sunday, it was so windy it nearly blew Scott Bean and myself off of the dam as we were walking back to the falls. The falls were running at less volume than I expected but I think both Scott and I thought it was running at a good flow for some images. I'll post one from Sunday. Wish we would have run into you there.
