Do you think that the price of the 5DII body will drop any lower than $2199 while it's still readily available? I've been tracking (mostly at B&H), but things haven't changed since the new 5DIII was announced. The 5DIII is still in pre-order status, and the 5DII body has continued to be in stock and has stayed at $2199. Once the 5DIII supply (and demand?) increases, I'm wondering if the price for the 5DII will drop any lower. What do you think?

I'd expect another drop at some point, but I don't know if that will happen soon or 6-12 months from now.

Btw- I will be selling my 5DII the moment my backordered III ships.

It will Jim... several folks got one for $1999 around Christmas which was before the price drop. Just a matter of time, and I expect Amazon to be the first one to start the game. I've got my eye on it in several places. Also, when the next round of rebates comes out with lenses, you can be sure the 5D2, 7D and 60D will have rebates and probably double rebates when combined with a lens. I seriously doubt the 5D2 will fade off quickly like the original 5D did. IMO, the 5D2 is the best value per dollar for a Canon shooter wanting full frame. 2200 bucks for pete's sake, and you can even shoot a feature film with it if you're in the mood.
