An awesome portait Justin, detail captured is incredible, nice one :toast:

Never been to Skomer but fingers crossed I have booked a day off to go there on Tuesday 6th June, looking forward to it  Still unsure what kit to take, do I leave the 400mm behind & take smaller lenses?

Hi Justin
Another very fine portrait, the great detail and colour are fantastic. I think I was there (Skomer) in 2004, hope to get back this year, off to Scotland first next week then maybe in June/July.

Hi Vince,
I'd certainly take your 400mm for some close-up and portrait type shots and flight shots,as well as a standard zoom and wide angle if you have them.
I'd leave the 600mm behind, and I think you'll agree when you see the steep steps you've got to go up after getting off the boat
Your in for a good day out,it's a great place.

Hi Colin,
This shot is probably from the same day that we met up on Skomer.
Have a good trip to Scotland.
