A visit across the border into Kent and Dungeness yesterday produced a few images that made me chuckle. The only problem is the hides are really for birders and they are not camera friendly.
The quality of the image suffered due to moving vegetation but also the shooting angle didn't help.
Hi Barry, I might suggest looking to apply some NR to the top, say 35%, perhaps reducing the Red too, and some more selective sharpening. She does look a little anxious.

"Treading"...thats a new word for it! Great shot Barry, makes you look twice when you suddenly see another head just above the water!

Made me chuckle too, didn't see the second head at first. It's a super shot Barry, she does look a bit worried though!!

Body boarding but he got it all wrong. :o Works for me, dont you hate hide made for birders, especially those with tiny holes for viewing.

Thanks guy's my initial thought was he searching for nits? Could be where the term ducking comes from.
When you compare shots that are taken from ground level they always seem to be better. The birders hides viewing slots are often too small and too high. Can't expect it all our way so no big deal at least we can share..

The Tufted ducks were showing well then the brief action. Isn't it called "Treading"?

Thanks for looking
Keith.
Looks good to me too, had a crack at Tufties the other day, but came away empty handed. Nice one, Barry.

Regarding hides - I suppose those that use them are not all photographers
