Hi All,
I've been a little absent lately in part because I went to the Big Island for Spring Break. I finally got through some of my photographs from the trip (not as many keepers as I'd hoped) but I want to share a few for feedback.
This is a focus stacked Hibiscus, shot with my Canon 7d and 100mm L macro. I did something different here: I used Photomatix exposure fusion (manually adjusting exposure just a tish) and the selective tool to select different parts of the frame for focus stacking.
My other program (Combine ZP) only does jpegs, so I thought I'd try misusing Photomatix since I like its use of tiffs and 12 bit color. Of course, who knows how much difference it makes, but I like using as few programs as possible.
Let me know what you think and any suggestions you have for additional processing, cropping for better comp, etc.
