Redstart
Time was when I could invite friends and guarantee setting them up on a redstart in the garden here in Wyre. Not any more.
Time changes everything as the song goes.
Still beautiful birds and damned hard to get the white forehead right. I love the females too- so lacking in colour but such delicate subtle beauty.

Now that is a gorgeous shot John!
One of the most beautiful songbirds we have and so hard to find or get close to.
Well done!

What a splendid setting showing the Redstart at its best.

Lovely setting and stunning colours JR but its lack of tail is making me want it to hop forward onto the next branch. Not got them up here yet but I get them in the local woods. Something to look forward to!
Nick.
