I was just looking for some info on the normal schedule for rhodie blooms in Del Norte Redwoods. I have some time, and would like to go up. Is it too early?
Thanks,
Chris

May is generally the best time to catch the Rhodies in the Redwoods...Weather of course plays a big role. I would try to call a park ranger office down there and get some info...

From my experience and what I hear from photographer friends who live in Redwood country, best of the bloom usually occurs about a month from now - around Memorial Day.
