Watching the Sunrise
Last Saturday.
Two exposures of the same scene, one of the flowers and one of the background.

It's a cute shot, nothing to write home about. I don't like the middle area of road and I feel that middle area is too big, the flowers should be almost to the river, but hey, it isn't worth that much work.

BTW it was blowing like stink here this afternoon and then it dumped rain for about 45 minutes. It's supposed to rain tonight and be fairly windy, but clear, tomorrow. Grand landscapes will be the call of the day as the flowers will be moving too much to do any close in shots.

Mark,
I really like the foreground. If Mt. Hood was in the background with a spectacular sunrise, This could be a real winner. As for the rain, I was golfing this afternood on a nice brigh, warm sunny day. Then within 45 minutes, it clouded over and rained cats and dogs for 2 hours. The wind was blowing 30-40 mph and branches and twigs were flying through the air. I got totally soaked. :frown:

This pic is interesting...I agree with your own comments here.

The funny thing was last Sunday it WASN'T windy. No landscape pics to mention of, though (family shots)

I agree with you too Mark...although the mere brilliance of the flowers makes this image all about them, which is good I think.

Very nice, Mark! Love the serpiginous road leading me away into the distance. Super shot!
