After finding out about the national exhibit already mentioned, I received notice my photo "Hatchery Road" has been accepted in "Art of the State: PA 2012", at the beautiful State Museum of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg next to the capitol building. This is my 2nd time there, the first time was the first time I ever entered a juried/jurored exhibit, 2007.
It was one of only 140 works of art covering ALL media from across Pennsylvania chosen for display, from among more than 1,800 entries.
The first person I called in 2007 was my dad. He's in the hospital right now, so this one was pretty exciting and emotional for me--it means a lot, even more than any national exhibits.
It's getting very busy around here, four cool shows, and a huge project coming up, including eight 40" x 60" photos. Now where is all that MONEY???! lol,

You thought you'd make money at photography? Seriously?

Well, I've found out that I've won an award at the upcoming Exhibit Opening celebration at the State Museum of PA this coming Saturday, the 16th. Pennsylvania's First Lady, Mrs. Corbett, wife of our Governor will also be in attendance (along with about 1,000 people). Should be a bit nerve-wracking, and fun.

Yes Jim, for my printer/framer, the gas station down the road, the website host, the charities I give photos to... I've made money for ALL OF THEM!!!
