Last Sunset on the Tulip Fields
The next morning they started toping the tulips. This was a very poor sunset but it was all mother nature would give me. With as many as four weekend trips up to the Skagit area, weather has beaten me more than not, and I am sick of tulips and the mud. This shot is likely to be seen by many as over processed, however I would like your comments. It is several HDR parts pieced together after each one is processed in LAB. Please note that this was my first attempt at using LAB. Too much to learn (of course those first times are killer on the brain). I'm not too happy with the blue cast on the most rear mountain, but it is midnigt. You LAB users please advise.

Forgot to mention:
3 Stop ND Hard was also used.
Exposures ranged from 1/15 to 1/125

Jeez, Randy!
The only thing I'd do is crop down past that one little cloud.

The colors of Tulips in real life seem over processed. The colors of the flowers, the blue mountain and the orange sky all combine to make this a real graphic photo. I think it's great.

Thanks Mark. Looking back at what I did last night: I seemed to recall after moving bac to RGB, I gave it a velvia punch. That is most likely what took the tulips over the edge. Just did the recrop as you suggested, what difference!

Randy,
You did a great job, with what you had to work with! I'd crop down to the yellow sunset skyline, and leave it right there. Nice, very nice!! This year left a lot to be desired for those who went up to shoot.
