Another belter John. All I get through my bedroom window is my neighbour washing his car

Excellent image John...I'm also impressed with the clarity of the Sigma lens...How do you think it is in comparison to other similar lenses"

That really is nice John. Our hawthorn leaves have barely unfurled yet as we enjoy our fourth week of an arctic blast from the north. No insects to photograph yet.

Thanks all.
Malcolm - I have only ever had that one (the 50-500, ),and the other Sigma -the 70-300mm., so I can't really judge. I know I could do with vibration reduction as the 500 is a pig to hand hold. I,m getting some useful stuff with the Nikor 70-300 and a Kenko 1.4 converter.

Saw this one in the Avian forum JR but couldn't comment. It really is a superb image and I am very jealous! I would have this one hung on my wall in pride of place. Well done mate!
