I decided to experiment with some time lapse videos while in Alaska. Unfortunately, both my cable releases broke after the first night, so I didn't get a whole lot. But I decided to make a short video anyway and added in some Milky Way photos from the Paint Mines (sorry, no Bigfoot sightings in this one :frown:).

Timelapse + northern lights is a perfect combo. :toast:

What were the flashes of light at the Paint Mines?
Were you firing a flash during some of the exposures ?

No, the flashes of light are mostly accidental and from my flashlight. I had two cameras going trying to catch some meteors, so I was walking back and forth between them. Since I didn't catch many meteors, I decided that instead of deleting most of the exposures, I'd use them as part of the time lapse.

Very nice time lapse! The scenes were cool, as well. Didn't know we had such formations here in CO. :wavey:

Time-lapses are fun and addictive, and time consuming. Ones with northern lights are always my favorite.
