White Camas Lily
The white Camas Lily is the rarest of the three colors of the blooms of the genus Camassia quamash native to North America. Usually the white blooms are isolated within a sea of blue or purple. Not to be confused with the so-called Death Camas which is highly toxic. The Camassia quamash was used by native Indian tribes as a starch substitute.

Love the white camas. If you can crop it to a nice composed diagonal of 3 or 5 flowers, that might make for sore interesting comp.

This is great Phil but I agree with Marylynne that a tighter crop would feature the white camas even more.

Marylynne and Craig, thanks for your great suggestions. I have included a newly cropped version. In hindsight I should have used a longer lens or that new 2x doubler on my wish list!

Nice one, Philip. I, too, like the cropped version better. The original look like it was competing with the background and
foreground. Well done.

Nice find Phil. I prefer the cropped version as well. The colors are excellent and I like the single drop of dew on the white flower.
