How early will the bloom on Roan be this year? Any ideas?

They are getting blooms at Grand Father Mtn's base like Macrae meadows already! It should mean early blooms all around.

a few just cracking at Graveyard Fields on Monday - very few but still a few - thats about 5300 ft - figure a week or longer to full bloom there - Roudn Bald a week later - IF the old rules hold - they may not - watch closely for updates by anyone who gets out to see

Not Roan but Craggy Gardens is right in the middle of peak with some yet to bloom and some already spent. Also the entrance to Mt.Mitchell is beautiful.
