Let's see what you've got!

I've been hesitant to post here because all I have are my attempts at the iconic arches in Utah from our trip last summer. My husband and I had Mesa Arch to ourselves this late June morning, maybe because sunrise is so early so near the solstice (photo taken at 5:04am!).

Beautiful image Stacy, and it's a refreshing take on an iconic location. Well done. :toast:

Cool images, Stacy and Adam!

Stacy - last time I had Mesa Arch to myself it wasn't because of the early sunrise but because it was -12F

Here's a not-so-well-known one.

Cool shots everyone! Stacy, icon or not, that's a great image! Good to see that perspective, and the huge wall that's back there. And as for having Mesa Arch to yourselves, pretty cool, huh? I've been that lucky myself twice. Neat stuff!

Guy, that's another place I've been wanting to get to someday, just never seem to make it!

My shot above is probably one of he biggest Utah icons there is, Delicate Arch. I walked through the arch on my way down into bowl below, and stood there just long enough to get this straight up shot. Of course, I got out of there as fast as I could so as not to tick off all the photographers up on the edge!

This is my little photo of Fay Canyon Arch in Arizona's Coconino National Forest. I found the mid-morning sun angle lighting the wall behind the arch whereas with late day low sun angles the shadows obscured the arch and its background.

Nice shot Lee! I like how you have framed the arch with the trees.

Adam,

I love your shots of the bridge at Butler Wash. It brings back memories of my visit there!

Eric, looks like you forgot your chainsaw that day :)
Very interesting! Is that somewhere around Fossil Falls?
