Spotted redshank
In my opinion one of the most beautiful waders. The Spotted Redshank also uses the Prypjat as a stop one before they fly onwards to their breeding grounds in Siberia. It is by no means an easy bird to photograph. Normally they "semi swim" but this time i had a bird who was kind of walking in between the vegetation.

Wish there was a larger version... I like these images which are probably more true to how we would normally see the species and would perhaps prefer a little bit more room all round just to give it more of a feel of being in the environment... the viewpoint is nice and intimate..

Nice one... looks to have been a very productive trip... looking forward to seeing more...

Great image Rene, the POV really works here. It looks a little bright on my laptop.

Looks great, and really well composed. Saw one at Titchwell over the weekend but it was too far away to photograph. :toast: :toast:

Hi Rene, can only echo Phil's reply & observations. Good to see more diversity coming through on here.
