Trail Ridge Road
Trail Ridge Road opened at 11am on Mon. I couldn't resist the opportunity to visit the rocks and critters up there

#3 My teeth are bigger than yours...a couple of Marmots play fighting.

*Bastages had the road closed at Many Parks Curve til the day after I came home. Grrr!

Cool pika shots, and great behavior shot of those marmots.

*Ever see the Michael Keaton movie "Johnny Dangerously"?

Nice critter shots! The pika portrait is very cool.

I see Trail Ridge Road was closed again Wednesday afternoon due to snow.

Nice shots, but the background of the first two looks extremely funky (post processing?).

Trail Ridge reopened today (Thursday) and hopefully it'll stay open until fall.
Todd, I think in the last photo, one Marmot is calling the other a "fargin icehole", but I could be wrong...

Nice to know Trail Ridge is pen, thanks for letting everyone know Richard! I like the pose on all of these. I do agree with Jon about the BG. Looks as if the highlights were bright and you brought down the highlights too much causing the grayish look. Could be wrong, but that was my first thought when I saw it. Got to love those teeth on the marmot shot!
