Busy Week in the Park
Hey everyone!

I always seem to get so wrapped up in everything else I'm doing that I forget to come by and post some new images. This week I spent a lot of time on the West side of Rocky as I didn't want to deal with Bear Lake Road construction. It is fun to have full access to Rocky again.

It is too much of a pain to try and re-size all the images I want to post to get them to fit the size and kb restrictions on this site so today I'm going to do it the easy way and just give a link to a page with a bunch of shots. RMNPForums.com has me post a number of my weekly shots each Friday so today I'm just going to give you a link to it. I'll try not to be so lazy when I post next week. Sorry!

Looking forward to hearing your comments and suggestions. Make sure to click on the photos to view them large.

Well, that's certainly a nice haul! Shocking how little snow and ice is at Lake Verna in mid-May. I'm scared what this drought portends on the summer fire front.

I agree, I can't believe the lack of snow. Especially compared to last year! Thanks for the images. Time to get the backpack gear in order. Hope to spend a bunch of time in Rocky this summer.
I wasn't aware there was a fire tower in the Park. Is that one a person could reserve?

Very nice images, Erik. Can't wait to head up for spring blooms!

After the sunrise? panos, I liked the rock island, and the morning reflection with the rock (image right above the star shot) as the triangular rock is a geometric counterpoint to the peaks.

Nice series, glad to see you're getting out there! That's some sweet color in those clouds.
