Just over a week ago, myself and some mates had a trip planned to Skomer Island. Well we were let down yet again by the weather, and boats didn't sail

. After travelling there, we decided to make the best of a bad day, and went to Llanelli Wetlands. The weather was crap there too, lol.

V. unfortunate, remember those long lines for the boat well, hope you get there soon, nice action shot, though not much of a consulation for missed puffins I am sure!

Yes, it's a nice enough shot, but it is no substitute for a day amongst the puffins. Hope you get there later this spring.

Not the bird you wanted but still a nice shot.

Hi Paul,

Think the flat light has let you down a bit here (imagine if it had been in warm evening light). I used to live in south Wales and as I remember, the weather was rarely nice on trips to Llanelli!

Fingers crossed you get a good day on Skomer soon!
