I'm Not In Utah Either
I must have missed the memo about going to Utah... Instead I went to the U.P of Michigan for a family wedding. Not a lot of time for photos - but did manage to catch a couple of light houses. Tried Sleeping Bear Dunes but the wind made it like a sand blaster.

Nice one Merle. This location has the sand so who knows, in a few hundred million years the UP of Michigan may look a lot like the desert southwest! Have a great holiday weekend.

I missed that Utah memo too. The UP is not such a bad destination either. I see you made the most of it.

Merle, not a bad place to be, if not in Utah. I missed the memo also.

What a cool lighthouse you found, Merle! And I'll bet the temperatures were a lot more comfortable than in Missouri. I've read about, and have seen a lot of pictures from that area...would like to visit sometime in the fall.

Hey All, Thanks for the comments. I know I have been MIA from the board for some time, life gets in the way. But, even though it is coming on the hot time of year, I will strive to be more diligent. I have to reread the manual on the camera so I can go out and shoot.

The U.P. is a beautiful area with a lot of opportunities to shoot. The small towns and moorings are a sight to see. Unfortunately, a wedding and family got in the way.
